Student Ministry at The Grove seeks to embody the church’s vision of “Glorifying God by making disciples of Jesus for the purpose of transforming our world”. A disciple is a follower of Jesus that help others follow Jesus. We seek to do that in three main ways:
Our hope is that students would connect to God and the church by engaging in Sunday morning services, Student Ministry gatherings and small groups. On an individual level, our hope is for them to connect to God through consistent personal devotions and prayer.
Our hope is that students will grow in their relationship with God through a vibrant connection to God and other believers, facilitated by dynamic teaching, small group discussions and accountability with peers and mentor leaders.
Our hope is that students will see their schools, sports teams, jobs, communities, clubs and all Student Ministry events as their opportunities to Go. As students mature in their relationship with God, they will also grow in their desire to share the hope of Jesus with everyone.
